How do learning credits work?

Do speaking and text analysis each get an allowance?: Text AI and speaking draw from the same balance. Credits measure Vila AI service usage, not a fixed number of translations or speaking minutes.
Why can credit consumption vary?: Consumption depends on the task, model and current usage rates. If Vila changes models or adjusts usage rates following API price changes from providers such as OpenAI, the same task may consume more or fewer credits. New rates and their effective date will be announced in advance. Your credit balance will not be changed, and completed usage will not be recalculated.
Where can I buy credits and check my balance?: Sign in through the extension settings, then open AI credits or Usage to view eligible packs, your balance and expiry dates. Expand monthly subscriptions below the packs. Purchases require Vila 1.4.0 or later. If purchases are unavailable, you can still use credits already purchased until their expiry.
Do usage packs renew automatically?: Usage packs are one-time purchases and do not renew. Monthly subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled. Prices are in USD; final taxes and totals are shown at checkout.

Monthly plans · More credits at the same price

Vila Standard: US$9.99/month for 400 credits per billing period. Vila Plus: US$19.99/month for 900 credits. One-time packs at the same prices contain 300 and 800 credits respectively. Monthly plans are prepaid and renew automatically. Each allocation expires at the end of its billing month with no rollover; canceling renewal preserves credits until that expiry. No new annual plans or plan changes are offered. Existing Pro / Pro Voice prices, allowances and renewals are not automatically converted.
